I keep running into leftists who think of the Scandinavian welfare model as some holy grail. That everything would be ok if only their country would adopt the way Norway/Sweden/Denmark/Finland (well, Finland is technically a part of Fennoscandia and doesn’t belong in the Scandinavia group, but anyway) do business. As for your post, you have a lot going on in there. Where do things come from without taxes? Good question, where did people get health care, education and roads before taxes?
