At first it seems like it’s gonna be the same case here…that they always use three people not because that’s how many are needed to hold the sign, but to form a complete thought. But Dreadlocks ends up being pretty well-read.

It hits a really high point in the response following the question at 8:40…and then drops off a cliff. I still haven’t yet reached a point where I’m not astounded how someone could be as well-read and perceptive as this kid, and still end up holding such crazy ideas.

Everyone knows Hayek and that he’s is associated with the Austrian school.* But if the guy really was well read, then he would have said Mises; and if he really really was well read, then he would have said Rothbard.

Yes, perhaps some Mises/Rothbard is the dividing line that someone needs to actually know something about the Austrian School and stop holding the ridiculous ideas this kid puts forth.
But I’m glad you recognize the hyperbolic nature of your comment, although I’m not sure you appreciate just how extreme it actually is, as I’ve mentioned multiple times, including here and here, I know of university professors of economics…who have never even heard of Hayek. To suggest that “everyone” knows of Hayek and his association with “the Austrian School” is to suggest that he is a “household name”, at the very least in academic or tangentially related circles. And I can assure you he’s absolutely not.
I’m well aware you didn’t literally mean “every single person on the planet”, but I would still argue you’re way off…to the point of basically being incorrect.

When mises says that money is an index of prices and not a measurement of prices what is he talking about? What’s the difference between index and measurements?
