In a free society we will not have to worry about alcohol-related violence as there will be little reason to consume that awful drug.. more mellow and calming substances are likely to take over the market, including social gathering situations.

Of the main articles selected (some of the blogs can get obnoxious), while some can be down right batty, I at least think I get why they are up there. As in, he will throw just about any crack pot theory article out that is at least semi interesting and non “mainstream”. I also get this wasn’t a “serious” article, and was meant to be amusing, but still barfights are just an act of thuggisness that none in their right mind would want to be around and I am a bit confused why the hell anyone would call them totally awesome.

But they weren’t all from the movies. In fact, they had some real barfights on video in the article that was part of the theme of the article. Also, I am not pissed or anything, just mildly bemused.

What city do you live in?
I live in Sweden’s second largest city so I have not seen a bar fight in my life. Though I have had the door-guard to beat up retards on occasion. If people start talking shit I just:
- move closer to the door
- talk shit back
- duck
whoola they are on the floor with 3 guards beeting on them. This is also a very effective method of stealing there chicks … or so I heard.
But people do pick fights outside bars and it is a lot of pissing before they actually get physical. People who just go beat someone up at random in a bar would be arrested in no time.
Don’t the bars have any security? People like that would never be let in anywhere here, they tend to stick to MC-gangs and there own black-market bars…
