<= Well; Hayek, as far as I know, was always critical of progressive taxation. (See in Constitution of Liberty, the chapter on taxation for example.)
Can you proof that Hayek advocated one-world government in The Road to Serfdom? Furthermore; we all know that Hayek wasn’t as classical liberal as Mises and that he had a different vision on reality - not as skeptic as Mises for that one. Yes, that’s a shame.
By the way; Mises came back to the table from that discussion. Just sayin’.
A couple of things:
Art of manliness, and that style of thinking, is about as far from ‘hipster’ as one can get. The point of that kind of thing is reminding men how to be men in a classical sense. Hipsters hate that kind of thing. As far as shaving, well, I learned about wetshaving from LRC, gave it a try and all I can say is wow, I had no idea what I was missing my whole life.
I’m working on an upcoming article, by the way, exploring the wetshaving-libertarianism connection. So if that was a serious question, rather than a rhetorical one, stay tuned!
As far as alternative medicine is concerned, anyone with the IQ over 90 mentioned should realize there’s something wrong with the approach of: everything not made in a lab is bad to eat, only processed foods are healthy, it’s odd that people did what we said and yet diabetes and obesity skyrocketed - the answer must be more drugs. Just a thought.
I also tried wetshaving -I’ve never felt so good in my life too!
