A lot. One of my country’s ‘top’ economists (obviously funded by the government) said increasing labor productivity is a bad thing, since it causes unemployment.[:O]
I once read an article in a college newspaper that referred to the college bookstore as a closed market, pointing out how this was a product of capitalism run amok. I guess capitalism is some giant monster now. At any rate, he called it a “closed market” and proceeded to point out how students have to use the internet or buy used books to find better prices. Digging through the dictionaries of several languages, both current and dead, I could find no definition for “closed” that matched the one used.
look at what is being taught at university levels, just watch the first few minutes.
All this under the guise of health.
