I do not feel that I’ve been dishonest. Also, Conza has apparently refused to talk about this privately so I assume that issue is closed.
Also, in terms of my behavior, I’ve always been very respectful, I don’t call anyone names or get irate.
I’m not sure if you ignored my post or what really. But I am not concerned with people who simply “disagree”.
Here is an example of someone I disagree with, see how I respond to them. Does it seem like I am offended or scared?
filc, I never meant to single you out, so I’ll apologise if it came across that way. Look, as somebody who is in disagreement with most of you on most issues let me say that being in disagreement is often enough to cause intellectual disputes into something personal. There’s a very thin line you have to tread and if you come on one wrong side you look condescending, on the other you look like you’re picking a fight.
I’m not trying to exonerate my own wrong doings, I’ve spoken down to people and behaved otherwise badly. But the fact is that it’s always best to give people the benefit of the doubt, even if they sound hostile they’re usually just trying to emphasise a point.
On a more general note, I think some people here really need to lighten up. A joke is just that, don’t take it personally.
Giles, why don’t you go read Block/Hoppe’s papers I pointed out which you called “travesties” and make a substantive case for your opinion? Oh, that’s right you aren’t much better than JLR in this capacity.
I’ve read the Hoppe piece, numerous times. I think I made myself quite clear that if you’re willing to take the issue up, I’d be more than happy to do so in private message. Right now I’m quite busy with a fair few things but I’ll read the pieces when I get around to it and provide you with my thoughts, providing you’re willing to have an open discussion. You didn’t send me a private message so I figured you didn’t have much of an interest in the subject, so I can’t say I’m going to waste much time on it.
Why does an open discussion have to be in private? When you are ready just bump your asteroid thread. I will dig out my argument from the tangential thread for why your economic proof, should one materialize and I am not holding my breath, would necessarily lead to an argument for one world government.

I prefer private messages, from experience I’ve found that private exchanges tend to be more concerned with discussion and understanding, whereas public exchanges tend to be more about debating and trying to win in front of the crowd. Maybe I’m wrong, but I know that the conversations I’ve had in private messages have been far more fruitful than those I’ve had in public.
That said, I made the topic and in doing so I made a commitment, when I feel like I can provide an adequate response I will do, and I’ll let you know as soon as possible. But you’re correct to not hold your breath, it would take far longer than I am willing to spend to write up a serious response to both papers’
