The solution would be private property rights, where the rights of the individual and his/her property are protected. This does not necessarily mean carbon emissions, but not using stolen money (taxes) to create carbon emission.
From the data I’ve seen, it appears to me that there is a much higher correlation to average global temperature with solar irradiance than with CO2 levels. This conclusion appears to make the most sense. This link has a lot of data

If anyone is interested, here is a short, but compelling video against the theory of man made global warming.
There is no doubt that the average temperatures have gone up over the last century:
Why do the scientists doubt this? Even Antarctica is actually not melting like it was supposed to.
The problem is not green energy per se, but that government is getting on the green energy bandwagon. Any form of energy will have its disadvantages, regardless if “green” or not. If green energy is truly viable, it needs to work itself out in the marketplace. However, regulations on both the green side and the dirty side of energy hinder true competition to occur.
I agree. The environmental regulations is the primary reason for on-going destruction of the American industrial base. Of course, that’s just must be their true goal.

The key word is average.
Also, take a look at several posts above, which describes global warming, but not necessarily AGW.

It’s not necessarily environmental regulation, just regulation in general. If we are going to move towards true deregulation, we cannot chastise environmentalists. Austro-libertarianism has its own method to protect the environment, by protecting property rights.
The climate always changes but to determine if there is global warming you need to put things in perspective. Since the Little Ice Age we have had a warming trend.

But that does not mean it was caused by man and as you can see it was warmer during the medieval warming period. The problem with the land based thermometer record is it started during a very cold period. The mild increase of 0.6C over the last hundred years is not that exciting when put in perspective.
However the land based record has other problems which are “man made”
