I think it may be a personality thing. My comments above apply to me. I suspect, but I am not certain, that they apply to others to a significant degree. It’s more of something I think you’d know if it were a problem, after some introspection. I just basically hoped to alert people to a possible issue, not to say anything like, “You’re definitely reading too much. STOP!”
Yeah, it is certainly good to point out alternatives and diversity to information processing. To think that there is “the way” is potentially setting up oneself for a world of frustration or worse. It is unfortunate most people are unaware of this, much could probably be blamed on centralized education (or the concept of some type of normative meaning to education).

I was pointed towards Austrian economics while I was at Temple University for my undergraduate in 2007, but have always been more of a classical liberal in my opinion of economic and political subjects. (Link to a similiar thread)
