Well, they claim tthat it’s really the state’s property, but that I’m being allowed to buy it on certain conditions, including taxes to the government.
They have the initial irrational premise that the state is a legitimate property owner.
I keep telling them that, but I obviously need to come up with something better.
Btw, should I be allowed to sell my property to Sweden if Norway were a libertarian society?
So they claim you have no property? It’s all the state’s? Does the state own your free-will too? Do they claim you have to ask the government whenever you want to take a bite of a hamburger how large of a piece you can chew?
I used to work in the justice field and there was this 16 year old girl who grew up by the hands of state employees. She had no parents and was under foster care or a government placement facility her whole life. She couldn’t take much from people that told her what to do. She lived with a lot of unsympathetic people that fostered her up bringing from day one. So of course she got an attitude - a particular hostile one at times. I obviously had a hard time blaming her after all the bullshit that uncaring people dumped on her. I’m sure she found some nice people, she told me she did from time to time, but not very often. I saw how they lived and it was obviously a mess to have to endure such a situation for 16 years. So what’s the point of this? When she would get real upset, and I’ll remember this the rest of my life, but she would hit a breaking point. There was always that last straw. Whether it was asking if she could cross from her bedroom to the bathroom or asking to cross for permission to cross over from one side of the living room to the other side of the living room. But enough would be enough when she was having a bad day and she would yell and scream at us: “Damn I can’t even wipe my ass after taking a shit without asking for permission around here!” Of course she was exaggerating, but that would miss the point.
They say I choose to work, and that taxes are part of the contract with the employer.
I’ve been reading your posts. You have already answered this question. I don’t know the proper term, but you can answer this question yourself from what has already been presented to you. What is your objective?
