the point i was making, was that the observation of someone applying severe violence to protect his possessions, does not prove the persons acceptance of legitimate property rights theory, and does not tell us that he has any respect for the property rights of others, just that he acts like an animal would to protect its kill.
i made this point by illustrating that your ‘proof’ if good for the paritcular somalian you have in mind, then surely it would be good for socialist collectives, good for state bureaocracies etc etc.

You cannot assume that just because people will shoot you for trespassing that they do not respect the property of others. In fact, I’d say you should draw the opposite assumption. Central governments have no control in many areas of Africa but I don’t see anarchists capitalizing on the opportunity by moving there. Instead, they move to highly regulated areas like Vermont or Portland to be around other white anarchists.
