Good for you, Benjamin. I discovered austrian economics at the age of 29, and I’ve been having a blast ever since. I am 30 now, so it hasn’t been very long, and I have yet to delve into Human Action or Man, Economy, and State. I plan to do that in January of next year. In the mean time, I am still working on my libertarian studies and my social science studies.

Crazy as it might seem, my real goal was to write about relationships, love, sex, etc etc, not economics, political theory, or social sciences.

Section for beginners

I’m relatively new to Mises and the general school of thought, but I have known of this site for a few years and browse through occasionally. Recently however, I’ve been really interested in figuring this stuff out. The problem is, beginners resources are made known to me only through very knowledgeable friends. There are sites meeting this need that I’ve found, but none as extensive as Mises. So what I’m wondering is, if the goal of Mises.org is to educate the masses, why is there no welcoming…

Starter Books

So with Christmas coming up soon, I am thinking about getting some hard copies of books. Audiobooks are nice, but not very good for retaining information (in my case anyway). So, what books should I get? I’m looking for starter books here, no Human Action just yet. I was thinking about For A New Liberty and Economics In One Lesson. Any other suggestions?
