I kind of question the voluntariness of it though. Aside from the fact that a property right ancap society may not be completly voluntary (I won’t debate it here, I am just saying the left anarchists ,etc at least have an argument that it isn’t quite the case). You are still wishing to introduce as the main sociological text the notion of “natural elites”. That is where I think it is a problem. It is taking a subjective value system and building hierarchies off of it. So if it is voluntary, it is still kind of an indoctrinating and, I think, spurious text that you wish to use as the sociology of the ancap society.

Even if these “natural elites” are swell guys, if it is a well known and taught academic doctrine it could have negative consequences. In fact I argue it will most likely have negative consequences.

Just calling them harder working folks isn’t as catchy. Greater inputs sometimes achieve greater outputs. I find that smart folks, are usually the ones who are willing to work harder.

The ideal form of democracy is that of the market. It chooses freely the best producers.

Hey, Mr. path-dependent, I’ve been at the game thing since Atari, and found a game-pad/gaming-keyboard and a gaming mouse helped make me more a PC gamer than console, especially with Steam. Many games are 360 controller ready. I’m just saying the PC market is very adaptable, for hardware and games, we’ll see if it keeps up with motion sensitive gaming.
