I work in HR, in recruting and operations. It’s fun because I get to see the effects of good and bad wage/benefits decisions on a company’s workforce first hand. For example, at my current company there’s a bit of a conflict between the CFO and how he wants to manage, and the owners and how they manage. The CFO looks at market data, doesn’t let people make lateral moves salarywise unless there’s an obvious gain for them in some other area like getting benefits when they had none, and reviews to performance. The owners in the departments still largely under their sphere of influence, routinely lowball people on salary offers, they scream and yell a lot, treat people like crap, and basically run the place like a 19th century factory as much as they can. Predictably enough, there’s relatively higher and sometimes massively higher turnover in the areas they manage because they’re always losing people to better offers, which are much easier to find even in this economy, and because their foul treatment of people is drags perceived compensation down even further. As a result they limit the growth potential of their own business, and I get to see this happening in real time. It’s quite interesting.

AP computer science sadly is taught in java. I dont really like java. I guess ill have to get used to it since its pretty popular.
Objective c is not that great since it only works on windows platforms.- Nvm.
I own a music studio where i charge for recording, but the bulk of my income really comes from producing and mixing music. I am also a songwriter, so i often make my money by selling my tunes to artists, or by helping them craft one of their own. More often than not these songs are rubbish, but who am I to tell the public what they should listen to. I just write it and sell it.
I do not receive royalties. I simply sell them the song, and I let them do as they please with it. tee hee, they could just “steal” it and I wouldn’t sue them out of principle, but I’ll never say that I do however, sneak in austrian ideas quite often, albeit subtly. Well, I feel outclassed now. 
Me, I graduated HS a few years ago and am not going to attend college. (Not in its current incarnation anyway. Costs too much)
I’ve currently got a shitty minimum wage job as a grocery clerk for a large corporation. (provides a steady, if small income stream)
But, thankfully most of the people there are alright.
I also run a side business in mobile computer repair for the technologicaly impaired. It pays way better than my main job when I do acquire the sparse work.
I was thinking of actually putting more effort into it and trying to make the jobs more of a regular thing. I just need to brainstorm and come up with some cheap or effective advertising.
Not specifically, but I can tell you that I work with many outlaw country guys from Texas (hence why I have a place in Houston but I live in nashville). Without naming names, there is one texas guy in particular known for toking the reefer that I have worked with on a couple of occasions, specifically on his reggae album. I like to stay anonymous on this site, so I won’t (and really can’t) say which song or records I’ve worked with him on, due to my contract with him (or maybe her…).

texas trigger - pretty cool. i just so happen to own the reggae album of a texas outlaw who is well known for toking. A number of songs i enoy off the album. Texas ‘outlaw’ country is all i used to listen to, but i really havent listened to music for the past 5 years.
I helped write a country song a couple years ago. It was actually pretty good, nothing special but pretty catchy. My friend actually did most of it, i just helped him with a couple lines and most the chorus. We got in a fight and we are no longer friends so i copyrighted the song and registered to collect the royalities on it if he ever makes money off of it. (no im not going to do anything even if he does make it with the song, nor do i think he will make it. he is far too lazy) Needless to say, i won the fight haha.

Many of my friends stayed for Masters Degrees, when the Economy tried to correct itself. I took up a part-time job and kept looking till I got my current job. With all the Student Debt that I am paying back over the next Decade, I don’t think I’ll be going for a Masters anytime soon.
