Oh Russia, what have you done?

Oh, and that Max Keiser.

Annoying, whiny, creepy, arrogant, petulant, awkward, bizzare, hyperbolic, and uninteresting.

Seeing him with his monotone voice, trying to force a sarcastic tone into everything he says, with that strange half-smile - he is just repulsive.

At least Alex Jones is fun to watch. This man’s conspiracy theorizing makes you roll your eyes.

And he is not even consistent in what he says. Whatever sounds like the most conspiracist position is the one that he takes. I think leftists, who were known for the most absurd conspiracy theorizing, have been lifted the burden of looking stupid ever since classical liberals got associated with such folks…except they still use leftist language and conspiracizing - “You neoliberals just want to capture our natural resources and remove common taxpayer good!”

Considering that the advantage of learning economics was that you rise above mass populist hyperbole, it’s wrong to come down to that same level. Leftist conspiracy theories about privatization being a plan to make corporations powerful, instead of a necessity forced onto collapsing governments, are based on poor understanding of economics. Such conspiracy theories are still common among the general fringe. It’s just that even Austrians associate with conspiracising economic illiterates.

It is all relative. Compare him to Bill O’Reilly or Wolf Blitzer.

An ‘ultranationalist’ is a nationalist from a country that you dislike. Eg, the CNN never sees any regular nationalists in Russia, only “ultranationalists”.
