Surviving Anarchy in Argentina

Frighteningly, one recent post detailed how the biggest TV stars of the country, all rich enough to afford all the private security they could want, got together to beg the nation for someone to do something about the crime. They did not specify who this someone or what that something may be. That is to say, even when the country collapses into total anarchy, the same people who believe that the state is essential to provide security and that a market system of security provision would just result in warlords and raiders, still cannot imagine a market system of security.

Did they beg the nation for security while their private security force was guarding them? lol; no need to answer the question. The private security force is standing right beside them, they paid for their service, and they are still wondering how crime will be lowered and beg the nation to provide security.

I hereby resurrect (no matter how briefly) this thread:

Argentina has never actually had anarchy has it? It’s central gov. has always existed along with its police it’s just that now, police are systematically used against the people w/o any pretence towards protection -correct me if I’m wrong.

I ask only because I’m taking a more historical look at anarchy and some anarchies are less than ideal. Yet in a lot of them, they don’t even have full, textbook anarchy!
