I don’t say please when I want to fight people. What I want is an intellectual debate, which doesn’t seem possible as you keep responding with useless one-liners.
Granted my post was a one-liner also but the lack of logical connection between owning a gun and using to murder someone should be obvious. The connection which you imply exists, not so much. Anyways I think my experience on this forum will be better if I just ignore you so cheers…

This argument is insoluble because the reasoning employed is inherently collectivist. “War” is commonly used to denote a superstitious theory of human behavior whereby war just “emerges” out of two societies as a result of some inherent hankering that grows within each respective group to fight it out, like two brawlers in a bar. Characterized in this way, whether “war” is right or wrong is not a question of normative ethics. Why? Because war is not something fought by a telic entity to which questions of ethics are applicable. War is more like clothing fashions… were parachute pants right or wrong? Well, it may have been a sin for anyone to wear them, but nobody made the decision for parachute pants to “come into style”, they just did. If wars “just happen” then they, too, are not an issue of normative ethics. All we can do is sit back and observe that wars happen. Nothing more can really be said.
However, if war is a question of ethics, then the question immediately becomes who is the decision-maker to whom the ethical analysis ought to be applied? And this immediately exposes the telic nature of the State in waging war. The State wages war to achieve specific ends and its actions in the pursuit of its ends can be analyzed using ethics. But since the State would rather not have this discussion occur (surprise!), they prefer to prosecute the discussion of war as if it is just some force of nature that sweeps through, almost like the inexplicable suicidal migration of lemmings… no one directly intends war, but each individual inexplicably marches in the direction of war until critical mass is reached and it just happens.
