Statism emerges from the the egoism of humans.

I would dispute that.

In the past, greedy men would justify their authority by proclaiming divinity or divine ordination. Today, rulers need only cite their self-imagined elitism to give credence to their power.

Ideology is a great tool for gaining control, although I doubt many of the rulers are that nuts. I think it’s more of a Machiavellian tactic to lull the masses.

Human society is patriarchal because of our evolutionary predecessors.

Look at the great apes of today: most of them will live in specific groups, ruled by patriarchs, and their lives will be embroiled by, not only the needs of survival, but violence and upheaval among themselves for plethoras of reasons; a primary one being the pursuit of dominance.

But not the Bonobos.

I think statism and patriarchal rule developed out of necessity at the time. To protect the tribe from lions, other tribes, etc., the group made the Faustian deal of sacrificing some liberty for security. The biggest, baddest mutha of them all became the leader, because of sheer physical prowess. Of course, there is plenty of evidence of more egalitarian, and matriarchal societies developing were there was no perceived external threats.

It’s best to look at the deities worshiped to figure out what the society held as important values. The venus cult of the early Eden, eventually swept away by the warrior storm god of the steppes, and with him, his representative on earth, the king.
