You know you're a libertarian/anarcho-capitalist when...

@Izzy

…when you scoff at people who celebrate July 4th because they aren’t as dedicated to understanding what the meaning of it is as you/us.

…when you think the tea party should be out there destroying corporate property and then telling the government to STAY THE FUCK OUT OF IT or ELSE.

=P

When you know more about the machinations of constitutions than their proponents…

… when your democratic and republican family members send you text messages that they’re praying for you after simply arguing that their beloved US is not a free country.

… when you want to bash your f*#ckin’ head in when you hear co-workers bitching about the outcome of the Casey Anthony trial, but still defend the state monopoly court system when confronted with an alternative.

… when you argue with your General Manager about the morality of NOT making pornography/prostitution illegal… I hope I have a job on Monday. Damn you, Crown & Coke!!!

My friends never understand this.

This is funny since I am now working my way through the three volumes of Capital. It is doing funny things to my anarcho-capitalist head.

… when someone you aren’t very close with at your job tries to make small talk with you about the “debt ceiling debates” going on in Congress now, and you want to respond with “I don’t think there is moral justification for Congress taxing individuals, or on borrowing money on behalf of individuals,” but instead you say “Oh yea, that’s some story. Wonder how it’s going to turn out.”

this one just happened this morning

This same thing happened to me too! I also started calling taxes “barbaric”

When you become an atheist because you saw a contradiction with the non aggression principle and some of your former religions beliefs.

When you feel you’re having an aneurysm everytime you visit the community supported agriculture pick up and see that 99% of the morons there are socialists.

When a little part of you feels like a sell out every time you leave the driveway.

When frustrated coworkers ask “What kind of tax would be fair?”… And you say “none.” with a straight face.

. . . when you can’t help but argue with clueless neo-cons on Facebook and you end up getting banned from their page.

^ This happened to me today.

When you make conservatives look like communists and liberals look like fascists.

… when you wish you could find your copy of Civilization IV: Colonization.

… when you can’t wait until Civ V: Colonization comes out.

. . . when your iPod is full of econ lectures from the Mises Institute.

… when you feel at home with people that want to be left alone.

…you respond to FB comments with philosophical/political outrage.

…when your central objective in life becomes converting people to volountaryism, preferably anarcho-capitalism

this is manifested

…when you spend tens of hours writing a 140 page (cambria 12 size!) masterpiece work in openoffice (open source openoffice NOT IP-bs Word by M$ patent trolling inc) which starts out with an ordinary IM conversation between two guys discussing the art (some science in it) of picking up women but who then seamlessly and at the time of reading makes seemingly logical transitions (Zeitgeist style where using symbols is key - which when looked back on objectively you can’t really figure out how the dots are connected but due to your emotions you ignore it) into other concepts. The concepts as well as the narrative keeps evolving and fusing together and before you know it the main character is a godlike alien coming to earth in the form of this conversation (or is it a musical? or karaoke? or song? or rap? it’s hard to define since the communication consist of pictures, lyrics, youtubevideos etc!)speaking directly to you and the other audience (the whole world) like a messia that converts everyone to volountaryism.

…when you then hesitate to release the work due to perfectionisthabits (which is really just an procrastination excuse and a perfect [yes pun intenden] excuse not to get anything finished). It has to be perfect and superclear as to allow for no misinterpration in the work that is designed and supposed to be become the bible 2.0. Wars are won by psy-ops!

…when you then realize you’ve essentially become a consitutionalist with the constitutionalist’s leap of faith in a documents supreme power and it’s ability to limit the state/mans actions. Fml. Question how you could forget that there’s as many interpretations of the consitution/the bible as individuals reading it (heck even more interpratations than individuals since the individuals keeps chaning their mind… especially and most importantly the supreme court judges)?

… when you put that work on hold and instead start designing your own conspiracy theory (currently 20 pages) geared towards minarchist libertarians which staunchly affirms and ”prooves” that libertarian minarchism is just another (state)ism propagated by globalist NWO reptilians (judge napolitano), funded by billionaire brothers Kochs (which are of course in on the NWO globalist one world government agenda as well - all billionaires are), and then lead them to converto to anarcho-capitalism - remember wars are won by psy-ops!

… When everyone you get into any non-superficial discussion with ends up thinking you are too radical.

Stuff like this is why I could never enjoy Civilization and its derivatives. Gah. So annoying. They get all the economics so vastly wrong that it’s angering.
