I am a professional pilot, having spent 20 years flying fighters in the active duty Air Force and in the Air National Guard. I have been on multiple combat deployments to the Middle East. I am a pilot for UPS and continue to serve my country as a lieutenant colonel in the Air National Guard. I have long had a deep and abiding interest in history, politics, economics, the human condition, and the way the world works in general.
