You may find this interesting:
Stephan Molyneux (!)
The little exclamation mark next to his name gave me a good chuckle. Meh to fun read otherwise.
“Asexual”?! What the f**k is going on in da house?
Intentionally biased towards social anarchism. They even admit it. A shame, if they could have set their hostility aside, this survey might have been accurate and much more interesting.
" All the paleo-diet followers (5) are either individualists or ‘anarcho’-capitalists. "
FTW!
We should have a survey like this here, it would be interesting considering we always have threads asking each other similar things (just like that job or age thread).
I’m with the guy who answered “twinkies!”
This is silly.

Wait, 2.8% of responding anarchists work in government? What? lol
I love how ‘anarcho’ was always in quotations during this survey. I liked this comment though somewhere on the list:
“Cut this ‘not real anarchists’ bullshit”
Couldn’t say it any better myself. Why don’t Left-Anarchists just allow anarcho-capitalists under the tent of anarchy? There’s no rule that says they have to like us. Definitionally, we are against government, so it’s something akin to anarchism. If left anarchists want to keep the word to define solely anti-hierarchy, then fine with me I guess, but it’s non-sensical and a waste of time to fight over words like that.
Anyway, I liked how one socialist put it by saying that it’s not really “anarchism” but “ultra capitalism.” I’ll take that word if I have to, I rather like the ring of it
Lol you’d think for anarchists they’d be more tolerant and wouldn’t be making up these rules. Every time I see quotations around the word “anarcho” before the word capitalist, it truly makes me want to stab a baby seal. It’s so frustrating. They either are overly political correct or conservative in their anarchism, which is ironic because an caps are seen as conservative, and yet we are more tolerant (because our adherence to voluntaryism).
Ultra capitalism? :
“capitalism is the fullest expression of anarchism, and anarchism is the fullest expression of capitalism.”
I became an anarchist while working for the USG, so did one of my military buddies while he was in Afghanistan. Also, I had an ancom as a professor at university, there might be a few of those in there.
“Ultra-capitalism” is when the means of production are ultra-privately owned, rather than just your everyday regular privately owned.
I think its sounds cool.
You too, huh? It’s rare that I’ve ever flipped my own computer screen off so many times in such short succession. I really wish they could have just put their hostility aside for the duration of the survey. I can’t believe they didn’t even do us the courtesy of putting Rothbard as a major choice for anarchist authors.
Guys, I don’t think they’re going to let us in the cool kids club. I’m going to go cry in the corner now.
I really didn’t see any hostility from the poll creators. In fact, I think they said they were sorry they didn’t think to add right-libertarians into the mix. It was mostly the survey takers who were hostile to an-caps.
You have to understand that, from their mindset, Capitalism (big C; not capitalism, little c) has always asked the state to support it from “eating itself” as they would say. To many, the idea of a right-wing anarchist just seems silly, as the right wing is (wrongfully) traditionally associated with anti-civil liberties and pro-authoritarian (a fallacy, I know, neither side is any better than the other).
Really? No hostiliy?
“We have to admit at this point that we are biased towards what can broadly be defined as “social anarchism”. We did include “anarcho”-capitalism just to see how many there actually are, but we forgot to add their preferred answers to some of the questions. Unsurprisingly, this meant that a number of “anarcho”-capitalists attacked our survey and its “left” libertarian bias. We make no apologies in this regard: we firmly believe that anarchism is, among other things, anti-capitalist inasmuch as it is anti-state.”
Thats just bias, and unnacceptance. Hostility would be “an-caps suck/ are idiots/ are fascists in disguise, and should not be trusted/ should be suppressed (lol, not an anarchist stance)/ should die.”
