No, this isn’t a poll…there isn’t a “statistical margin of error”. It’s vote tally period. Obviously 8 votes out of 122,255 counted, yes there’s an essential tie for first. It’s less than 1⁄100th of a percent…and yet all the places I’ve heard have said “Romney wins Iowa” “Romney narrowly defeats Santorum” and stuff like that.
Paul was 3 points behind. When there’s two other people that much closer to each other, there’s no way it could be called a “three way” tie
