If you spend any time on YouTube (and these forums) you might have come across some discussion or videos of eagleeye1975. Quite a bit of back and forth over the youtube airwaves on political and other matters.
Coincidentally with his situation now, he also had some good stuff on civil rights and best practices when dealing with agents of the State.
You can see the video below, but basically every parent’s nightmare has become a reality for him…all 4 of his kids have been taken away and put into foster care under allegations of child abuse. He has taken to the online community for any kind of help he can get. And as if this weren’t bad enough, he’s found it necessary to identify himself and give up his anonymity (which is almost assuredly why a large number of his videos are now gone. He’s been going to school for years to become a teacher, and as we all know there’s plenty that a libertarian atheist might put on a youtube channel that may very well be used to keep him from getting a hired.)
Watching this video I just found it frighteningly ironic that this happened to him, as again, he was actually one of the more prominent voices in proper ways to deal with the State. I was reminded of this important scared-straight piece from LRC, which everyone should read, and send to anyone they know who has minor children…
