Indeed, if the rich man got the money from the poor guy, why didn’t the poor guy do it himself?

I see neither; both are incorrect. The laborer does not make $100 worth of products a day. The businessman, in the 6th passage, is incorrect.

Working for yourself as opposed to for someone else is not “making yourself rich versus making someone else rich”.
