The internet is a great place to advertise, and a simple, free way to do that is for people who support a particular cause to support it by making a banner like sig image and using it on forums. I love to do this. Well done, good looking sig images grab attention.
Right now I’m using on the forum I visit most often a sig image I made supporting OpenCarry.org. I’d really like one for Ludwig von Mises Institute though. The reason is simply that open carry is a step, and IMHO an important one, but is short-sighted compared to the goal that I think we need to accomplish by unsuppressing open carry. Unsuppressing open carry isn’t the ultimate goal. I think that many of the people here at Ludwig von Mises Institute have the ultimate goal in mind and are thinking long term.
Anyway, I can make simple sig images and stuff, but I was wondering if anyone else had already made any, and I was wondering what everyone else thought about it. I obviously wouldn’t want to make one if the institute didn’t want me to, and I certainly wouldn’t want to just go off and do it on my own for fear of falsely representing the institute… But… thoughts?

To be honest I don’t know how much, if any of an impact it really makes, but I like to think that it at least gets some people thinking or interested.
