I’m not a natural rights libertarian, but I am curious about something. The US government permits certain Native American tribes to take otherwise illegal drugs. Could we get out of taxation by claiming it infringes on rights bestowed upon by our “creator”? I realize it’s unconstitutional, but I really don’t care.
Given that somehow politicians manage to implement the Patriot Act without violating the constitution according to the system, I think you’re much better of not fighting the fight you are proposing. The constitution is a random document anyway. It’s make-believe, as George Carlin would say.
