An article that shows socialism impossible, not just inefficient

I remember somewhere reading a comment by Murray Rothbard, where he says that an article or a book or an essay or what-have-you, written by someone else, convinced him that socialism is not just inefficient but impossible. That was a few months ago, and now I’d really like to read whatever piece that was, but I can’t find it or remember what it was.

Does anyone else know what book it was Murray was referring to?

I might be wrong, but I feel like Murray was referring to something written by Joe Salerno… Ring any bells?

Mises originally made the comment in his first article on the subject Economic Calculation in the Socialist Commonwealth, later Joseph Salerno made the point that this was not just rhetoric on behalf of Mises but was actually a truthful statement in his postscript to the article, so that’s the piece you’re referring to, Salerno also covers it in his lecture on the subject which is available in the media section of the website.

The first one might be the one you’re looking for, and the second may help, too.

^ That is specifically what Rothbard was referring to, IIRC.
