anyway he brings up some good political points but i think he’s wrong on economics, he’s the leading voice against libertarians and austrian economics so he HAS to be debunked
Why? How many times has someone, including a few blog entries of my own, debunked a Paul Krugman article with material facts and yet it is Krugman who has a Nobel Prize.(My favorite historical issue with Krugman is his assertion that Herbert Hoover was a practitioner of Laissez Faire Economic policies which stands in direct contrast to any government statistic available at the time and more over Hoover’s own diary.) Austrian Economics is the only school of economics consistent with micro-economics and is the only economic theory logically deduced from human action, but the propaganda of the other schools of economics so strong that the majorities of the economic profession and in the general public will agree with Tarpley.
He is for the New Deal. aka Socialism. I think that’s been debunked quite nicely.
His most solid objection to Mises and Hayek is the very intellectual one that they are not from around here. They, unlike the very American New Deal, are foreigners. They are from Austria. “And if that isn’t bad enough” [his words], they rose to prominence through the London School of Economics.
Does that argument need debunking?
I’d urge people who listen to start before the OP tells them to. He makes logistical points about returning to a gold standard and the effects of it. I do not agree with him, but those are legitimate points that we would need to rebut. (the effect of debts and prices when returning to gold fixed etc. yada yada)

There is a lot more to that argument that he makes, but nevertheless ignore his economics. He is a LaRouchian New Dealer…we all know what they think (drug war, protectionism, and welfare! also, against England) LaRouche labels everything from London as bad or imperial.
Listen to him for his geopolitical assessments.
