In that case, the local Animal Abusers Defense Agency would send in their tanks and heavy artillery. The Animal Abusers Defense Agency has better weapon systems, since they have no qualms about testing them on animals.
Says who? Maybe some animal abusers are also part of the United Anti-Child Labor Union, and would fight for the Superunited Union of Left-Wing Causes instead of the Superunited Union of Right-Wing Causes.
I didn’t say I would lock you in jail. But since there is no constitution to know what are charges are not, I wold have you brought up on charges in a private court to decide if animal’s have rights, and you violated them.
when it comes to animals “rights” the state is so incompetent at defending them that it seems to me, that under the state animals are more abused than they would be under anarchy. And it is quite ironic, because there are so many individuals, who fear anarchy because of that. The biggest example will be State’s support (through our taxes) of animal slaughter houses and so on. It is the massive abuse campain on animals, so it is quite obvious, that in anarchy most animals would be better off.
And the Animal Abusers Defense Agency would send in Secret Force X (their elite special ops forces) to rescue me from my kidnappers and charge you and your “private court” with kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping at a court of my own choosing (it was fine when you chose the court, wasn’t it?).
And I would (personally) justify violence against those who harm (abuse, not just kills for food) other sentient beings for the sake of pleasure or just out of “interest”. So yeah, I wouldn’t care much about PDA laws in anarchy rejecting animals rights (which I agree, that there are no such rights per se) than I care about State laws now, “supporting” animal rights and at the same time funding slaughterhouses.
Furthermore, there would be even no need to violently beat the abuser or to harm him in a way to violate NAP, I think just exposing him and taking animal away from him would be enough I am sure many people would support such actions (it’s common, like a sense of morality, so there is no question about that), like it is supported now, when we see animal abuse on the internets when anonymous individuals catches the abusers better than any police could do.
So yeah, animals will be protected by those who are interested in protecting other sentient being, not just humans. Compassion, my friends.
I understand that, but I just wanted to point out, that majority of people are not animal abusers. Abusers usually have mental/childhood experience problems, and that should be the key point in this debate. How to prevent animal abuse, not just how to “legally” take away poor dog who is being beaten from the violent owner.
Beating the shit out of the abuser post factum (when animal is already dead or seriously hurt) seems bizarre to me and won’t help the dead animal, neither it would help the abuser to understand what he/she just did. But using coercion (of course, if no other way is possible) taking away animal when it is being abuse (in action), I have no problems with it completely.

Perhaps arrest was the wrong word. What I meant was subpeonad, as I’m sure only few charges could have you actually “arrested” in a free market.
