He is now responsible for making me miss an episode of “How I Met Your Mother”, maybe the only network TV show on now I try to watch anymore
“Big Bang Theory” is pretty good as well.
I listened to it and there were the normal loads of garbage, but I’d like to focus on one part of the speech: the 4 million jobs created or saved. The logical problem with saying “created or saved” is if at least 4 million people are employed after this spending bill, President Obama can claim that he “saved” those jobs. Given that that’s extremely unlikely, he can still claim that not having passed the bill would have resulted in 4 million more Americans unemployed. Giving him the great of argument of “I know it didn’t solve all the world’s problem, but hey, it could have been worse.”
The man seems to have a severe lack of understanding of economics and banking. He speaks in platitudes and non-sequitur catch phrases to answer “philosophical” differences.
guys he’s a politician what do you expect
I don’t know how you can have the strength to watch his garbage. At least with Bush and the Republicans everyone hated them, the problem with Obama and the Dems is everyone adores them, they get free passes on too much
It’s important to be topical when discussing political economy. You have to stomach these speeches so that all of your information doesn’t come from some sort of news filter all the time.
