I listened to the interview with Robert Kiyosaki. What gets me about Kiyosaki is his misuse of language. For example, saying that a house is not an asset. Of course a house is an asset, although a mortgage wouldn’t.

PHIL ALVIN’S MUSIC HISTORY LESSON: RECORD COMPANIES SELL FURNITURE
This is an interesting video. Musician Phil Alvin explains how record companies were really furniture companies who wanted to sell consumers their record players. I don’t know if it’s intentional, but the way he speaks of patents makes them out to be bad for consumers. He explains how Edison’s patent on the phonograph caused Victor to come up with its own way of recording music, and even though it patented the process, it allowed everyone in the world to use this process, because it wanted people to make tons of records, that way it could sell many more of its record players. The final line of the video is pretty cool: Music lives in bars.
