I love this interview because Hazlitt says it best what Conservatives really do. Most claim they want to decentralize governments, but in reality, they just keep governments big. As Hazlitt says (paraphrasing the quote), “[Conservatives] claim to administer their socialistic policies better because they dont believe in it”

Just happen to be watching John Stossel today and he’s talking about how much government assistance American Indians have gotten and are getting. The Director of the Indian Trust (I think that’s what it’s called) said that the reason that Indians are poor is that the United States has neglected them after being asked why it was that the Amish and the Mormons do just fine.
