Are we still in a "recession"?

Are we still in a “recession”?

No, we’re in a banana.

This page is hilarious.

"If the government does nothing, or not enough, you risk what happened to Japan in what is called the Lost_Decade_(Japan)"

LOL

It’s hard to read that and keep a straight face. Sadly, a lot of people are reading that right now and consider to be the absolute truth.

I apologize for the delayed response. Just had my finals for school and took a hiatus on the web.

Anyhow, the reason I ask is because I get conflicting ideas, depending on who you ask. If we are in a banana, we gotta split.

Having a significant other in the Real Estate business, I can say with confidence that WE (Everyone not working for the government) are still recessing. Face it, there is a bubble on in government and like Japan the economy with that burden can not climb out as the government steals its funding through force and therefore consumers can not just stop purchasing government until it collapses completely. Is there hope, absolutely, the government debt to GDP ratio in Greece is only a little better than that of the USA. So collapse although not immeninent is coming.
