August 29, 2009, Mises Circle in San Francisco

Are any of you attending it? I am.

Woha! Where is it at? What building? Time? Place? Cost?

Link me man!!! LINNNK ME!

Found it. I am so there.

I’ll be there.

Serious?

If you are hanging out in the city, I recommend going to City Lights Bookstore. It’s where the 1960’s hippies use to hang out when they were protesting the war. If you go downstairs on the left side of the bookshelf they have an Anarchism section. It’s so cool.

City Lights Bookstore

Um… yeah. Why would you think I was joking? [:)]

Awsome! But is it mostly anarcho-commie/socialist stuff, or is there anything an-cap?

I worry that if we were to ever meet then the space-time continuum would rip apart.

Ehh they mix it with ‘Class Warfare’…it depends on what they have stocked. Still very cool. I like homely bookstores.

[:|]

So no underground writings by Rothbard?

lol. [:P] Why, because of our completely opposite meta-ethics?

Lilburne and I often disagree to a large degree.

Since I’ve been there [ not that many since it is a BART ride away ] they have not had Rothbard. However, they did have the Robert Graham History of Anarchism which really got me started in the ideology after I had read Lysander Spooner but like I said they always have something new and its fun to go there even if to see the history of the building. Funny thing they have all of these statist posters in the window like ‘Nationalize healthcare’ ‘Make gasoline a public utility’.Totally looney yet still cool to see.

Of course. Don’t worry, I’m a really nice guy in person. Non-Confrontational almost to a fault. I’m a writer, not a speaker.

They also have Bound together. I’ve never been there but I think it is the collectivist anarchism.

Well that’s no surprise; although I do disagree with you over a lot, you’ve always been nice and non-confrontational online, as well.

Sweet. I’ll be the big goofy guy with the black fleur de lis shirt.

Yeah, i visted the website. They are so anarcho-commie/socialist.

Don’t forget to register. I think it’s $85.

Yea I can’t recommend them since I haven’t been there. City Lights is really cool though so if you haven’t been there, are in the city with time to kill, then it is a cool place to check out.
