Bastiat and the Austrian School

I realize that Bastiat influenced the early Austrian Economists but how do Bastiat’s views differ from the Austrian School (if they do)?

Bastiat developed his own anti-labor theory of value whereby something is valued in as much as it takes away labor so he was pre-marginalist. Also he was a believer in limited public goods and considered some taxes a price for gov. services. I also think he held an abstinence theory of interest instead of the time-preference one.

Pre-Austrian is the best description, he doesn’t depart so much as lack.
