Ben Quayle is running for Congress, and he’s coming to my university to talk tomorrow at the ASU College Republicans meeting. I want to ask him some hard questions such as what he’s going to do to lower healthcare costs, what departments/agencies/etc. he’d try to cut if possible, and then his take on the Audit the Fed bill. I’m hoping to hear answers like making it legal for unlicensed doctors to practice in the United States, interstate competition for insurance companies, and all of that instead of “low taxes are good, blah blah blah” rhetoric.
Do you guys have any really tough questions I can ask him? I wish I could debate him the entire time, but we’ll probably be limited to 1-2 questions a piece.
Special economic zones have worked well in china. They are regions with low taxes/low regulations to encourage investment. They have an average of 20% growth rate per year. Why don’t we try those here?
Are you going to stop the current wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Columbia, etc by cutting funding for these operations?
Are you going to cut the budget of the Pentagon? If so then how?

Because, for opposing schools, performing experiments that can discredit their own position is exactly what they don’t want to do. That is why all of the minor states in the world that are disconnected from the Keynesian paradigm were pressured into enacting bailouts and big spending all at the same time. They can’t risk comparisons.
