I just want to hear some views on and explanations of the works of Bohm-Bawerk, especially in relation to structure of production and time preferences. Is it true that his “roundaboutness” theory has been conclusively debunked?
Conclusively, no, but some of the arguments put forth by Bawerk were wrong. However, he never intended for his thesis to be applicable to all scenarios no matter how ridiculous, as Paul Samuelson assumed.
