I have $250 to spend on books. What should I get?
Interests: Political philosophy (anarchism especially), economics, US history
I’d prefer to purchase them all from the Mises Store.
Thanks!

What do you own already?
I second that. If I have to make suggestions blindly, though, some of them are “Theory and History”, “Human Action”, “The Ultimate Foundation of Economic Science”, “Democracy: The God that Failed”, and “My Years with Ludwig von Mises”.
Human Action - Mises
Man Economy and State - Rothbard
Money Bank Credit and Economic Cycles - De Soto
Socialism - Mises
Theory and History - Mises
Democracy: The God That Failed - Hoppe
Anarchy and the Law - Stringham
The Ethics of Liberty - Rothbard
Total price from the Mises.org Store: $246
Anarchy and the Law is a personal fav
What about Boundaries of Order?
Books I already own:
Man, Economy, and State*; Economics in One Lesson*; Economics for Real People; The Theory of Money and Credit; What Has Government Done to Our Money
I would add For a New Liberty by Rothbard. With that kind of money you could buy an ebook reader and download most of the suggested books for free. Plus, you would have money left over to donate to the institute.
I’d suggest Money, Bank Credit and Economic Cycles by Jesús Huerta de Soto.
Money and Banking is such a gapping hole in my education. I bought this book for Christimas 2009 but am keeping it on the shelf until Summer
so that i may have more time to muse over it.
