As the issue of the State, or no State, is an important one. What would good books to read be? I’ve tried Nozick’s Minarchist book “State, Anarchy and Utopia” I found it very heavy going.
Any An-cap books? I’ve ordered “Anarchy and the Law: The Political Economy of Choice” by E.Stringham are there any other books recommended?
I’m halfway through Murray Rothbard’s For a New Liberty and I can’t recomment it highly enough. Rothbard’s smashed just about every statist fallacy so far. He’s even brought up some I hadn’t even thought about then proceeded to demolish them.
Also, I recommend Stefan Molyneux’s free book Practical Anarchy, which you can find at freedomainradio.com You can get it in PDF or audiobook format.
Hi guys thanks for your replies I’ve ordered Rothbard’s “For a New Liberty”. Nielsio thanks for your advice I checked out your website and have found a link to a local (London) An-Cap meeting place. So I’ll hopefuly meet some like minded people. BTW I read an interesting article in" the myth of national defense" on Secession. This seems a good way for a state to dissolve safely into, hopefuly, more libertarian societies.
