Here is only one idea:

Lets expand the list. What would Obama do without a state to commandeer?
He’d be the pitchman (with a full script and teleprompters) for a self-help program which promises to change you, but just leaves you being the same person–only with less money.
Actually, the program did work, according to Obama, because you changed when you gave you money.
Anyways, Obama can certainly claim that he brought change to America.
I think that outside of charisma, politicians have to have a good sense of where public opinion is and what the prevailing political and economic theories are. It’s almost a form of empathy, but it’s often turned against the people as opposed to being used in their benefit.
Sales, Marketing, perhaps counseling, or acting as a moderator in a dispute, motivational speeches, being an author, TV host, radio DJ, leadership (if other skills are present), voice acting, acting, he could use it along with perhaps accounting to make presentations to upper management. Charisma is quite useful, and even more so when combined with other skills.
Used-car salesmen.
Can skills/attributes that are helpful to obtain bureaucratic power be used to profit in an anarchocapitalistic society?
Yes. Of course.
Think about all the “skills” that statemen excel at. Deception. Avarice. Self-aggrandizement. Influencing others.
Those skills are extremely profitable under capitalism, and communism, and every other arrangement under which human beings could possibly exist. Even in the absence of an official government, these scumbags could easily find their niches in business, advertising, media, finance, and religion.
So, in anarchy, people with dictatorial tendencies might a) establish their own religious cults and be worshipped as gods. They could lure away the most desperate and the most gullible with false promises and flattery.
or, b) become media tycoons and advertisers. What could be more promising than a career in lying? They can play on people’s emotions, use humor and other social graces to amass an audience, and sell their influence to the highest bidder. They could level horrible accusations against their enemies and have them boycotted and put out of business. Sounds like fun!
or, c) they can become assassins. That sort of thing would be highly discouraged under anarchy, so they would either rationalize it (hey, we’re the good guys! We’re protecting you from thieves, murderers, etc.) or do it secretly under cover of night and deny all accusations (me, kill somebody? how preposterous!)
Eventually, these people will set up various organizations and award themselves titles. They won’t call themselves “Presidents” or “Legislators”, so they will give themselves other bogus titles such as “Director of Industrial Services” or some other corporatish BS. Eventually, these people will be more and more pulling the strings until we discover that we have a new “government” and nobody noticed.
