Can You Define Natural Rights as a Meaningful Concept?

Can you give me an example of an non-subjective opinion?

Hint: you might want to look up the definition of opinion.

I think I should maybe address that. You seem to be invoking this ‘tertium-non-datur’ stuff, non-contradiction stuff. But hasn’t Anarcho-Mercantilist showed that so called aristotelian logic is perhaps incomplete ? (Also, I wouldn’t say I definitely agree with AM, but of course, I don’t disagree either)

In other words, Are you really really sure I can’t have it both ways ? I personally would hate to have a too dogmatic opinion, and maybe you would too.

i’m afraid you missed the point

Well, subjective opinion, subjective assertion, personal preference, what’s the difference ?

Thanks! While I’m at it I will also look up the definition of ‘definition’ - Otherwise I don’t think I would be able to make (personal and subjective) sense of what I’m reading, no ?

You’re welcome to hold opposing views simultaneously. Illogic makes my argument, not yours. [:)]

Perhaps you need to clearly define the word ‘illogic’ before proceeding further ?

Why should he follow your subjective premise and look up the subjective meaning of an ambiguous word? [:P]

It depends on whether or not he subjectively values clarity. It is certainly not a categorical imperative

Can I interest you in an lecture by Roderick Long delving into the objective vs subjective worlds?

What is clarity ? Anyway, how do you know that other people ‘value’ things ? You personally might believe in something called ‘subjective value’ and ‘subjective value’ is something that exists in your mind (maybe), yet you really don’t know if other people experience this thing called ‘subjective value’.

Being pedantic can’t bail you out. But you’re welcome to try.

How am I being pedantic ?

By the way LS, you haven’t figured out the pattern behind my posts starting with my [Sat, Oct 3 2009 4:41 PM] post ?

Yes, but written form would be preferred. : - )

No, but I will put my top researchers on it immediately.

We must discover the secret, wrapped in an enigma, nestled in a sesame seed bun of intrigue, that is Juan.

The Red Queen would do that six times before breakfast.

Because she had enough practice. Maybe LS needs to practice a bit more.

Does it have special sauce?

Yes please!
