Have you ever read some of Chuck Norris’ columns?
One of his more famous ones was Obama’s American Assassination Program, where he started highlighting news from all sources that indicated new plans to assassinate even people with American citizenship like Anwar al-Awlaki.
I thought, “So Chuck Norris does not approve of a police state and overbearing national security measures?” Kind of the opposite of what you may have expected.
He doesn’t like that program, because that has always been his job. Not the police.
Norris is kind of a crank with libertarian leanings, like Ventura.
Cranks maybe, but Ventura and Norris type libertarians are good “entry level” libertarians for neocons IMO.
Woah! Chuck Norris is more of a neocon, Ventura is a moderate libertarian. Haven’t you seen any of the movies Norris is in? Racist as hell! Even Ann Coulter has endorsed Ron Paul. Doesn’t mean she’s not retarded and an evil person.

Ah sorry, I rarely watch movies and live outside the USA so only know Norris from a few YouTube videos and some mentions on this forum.

He may be, but it’s probably a fairly shallow support. Norris is basically a typical blow-hard conservative. Seems to base his positions off of slogans and “family values” rather than complex philsophy or economics. Doesn’t mean he can’t learn, but don’t put too much stock in him. He was all about Huckabee last cycle.

Huckabee sounds good until you actually examine his policy propositions in detail. Freedom of religion, school choice, abolish the IRS, all that jazz. But in the end he was just going to hike other tax rates and duties.
