With correspondence with the principles of homesteading is it possible for a group to own property?
If a tribe of people discover unowned land simultaneously and homestead it, do they all own the plot equally, or do they each own an equal fraction of it, or do they not own it at all?
It seem this could be applied to any organization without a single owner as far as I can tell.

Sure, why not? There would probably be some kind of contract specifying the conditions of the joint ownership, such as how decisions are made and how much benefit/profit/utility each person can take from the land.
That really depends on how the group is itself owned.
There are a wide range of perspectives on this sort of thing, but a good starting point might be Randall Holcombe’s essay, “Common Property in Anarcho-Capitalism.”
