Confused and seeking help: Mises Institute vs. Freedom Force International

It has been proven by a few people you can get out of it in some British common law systems. However, it is extremely complicated and most people are too irrationally scared to use the knowledge anyway.

Regarding Griffin, his political strategy is an exact copy of Lenin’s doctrine, which he calls “Come To Power”. If you know Griffin’s doctrine- guess what- you also know Lenin’s.

Exactly. And Lenin’s strategy worked like a charm. Why not fight fire with fire?

And while it may seem that we are headed towards some global feudalism, or more appropriately, global fascism/socialism, the reality is that modern civilization is simply in an ongoing process of disintegration. There will be no global socialism because that is an economic impossibility. Society would simply self destruct before we ever reach that point.

So we will disintegrate because large states are not sustainable. That makes sense, and makes me feel better about the future. Who has written about this process of disintegration? Did you come to the conclusion simply based on economic reasoning?

Lenin was a sociopathic, murderous thug. That his body is still on display and venerated is what is wrong with this world.

You noted above that it may be out of your grasp to alter the territorial monopoly on law and security. It certainly is. It is even out of Rockefeller’s hands or the hands of any one of the most powerful men in the world. Society is what it is for reasons we cannot know - the course of history, the accidents of birth of geniuses and tyrants, and so on. And because society is what it is, there can be the State. The answer is not to take over the State apparatus, the answer is to protect yourself and your family. Stop trying to save society and focus on saving yourself. If we’re lucky, a lot of other people will also stop trying to save society and start focusing on saving themselves… in the process, society just might be saved.

Build your wealth and keep it out of paper money. If your family has a family business, learn the craft and prepare yourself to carry the mantle to the next generation. If not, then work independently to begin your own family business one day and make that the foundation of your own family. Become a patriarch, a Godfather, be your own king, keep watch from the walls of your castle and keep your children and family warm and safe there*… don’t worry about the rabble outside, not because you don’t care but because they don’t care. In the days gone by, it was once possible to do much of this in the open because there was a widespread respect - at certain times and places in the West - for the social values conducive to private property. Nowadays, you must be much more cunning and circumspect… everyone is a snitch, everyone is a Brutus, and there is a government bureaucrat behind every bush just itching to prove he is more powerful and important than you are and bring you down a few pegs with back-taxes and fines. The walls of the modern castle are manned by lawyers, not archers.

To build a lasting family (multi-generational), you must first build your moral foundation. Learn true religion, as Thomas Paine called it, which is the religion which has no dogma but that of doing right by your fellow man. Value blood relations above all and treat all strangers with compassion. Lead by example but be ready to enforce upright living, if necessary, by disinheritance. Pass your wealth to your eldest son whom you should have diligently instructed in the importance of family, uprightness and the dignity of all men.

Beware of generals and marshals, even those who are advocates of freedom. I have no doubt that Griffin is well-intentioned but I question whether you will really achieve fulfillment in life following him.

*I’m speaking metaphorically, of course, but if you could buy your own castle that would be freakin’ awesome!

PS - if you feel driven to campaign for the cause of liberty in a society dedicated to that, I would recommend Hoppe’s Property and Freedom Society any day over FFI. Why not check it out?

Clayton,

Thanks for the inspiring advice. I have been to the Property and Freedom Society website, and will certainly spend more time there.
