There is an article in the LA times which argues that Intellectual Property should be registered and taxed in order to encourage the release of materials into the public domain.
What will these geniuses think up next (and will they copyright it)?
Of course, one law is terrible and abusive, so let’s make more laws! That’ll solve all our problems. Thank you LA Times; thank you for being such an bastion of intellectual acumen in a world tragically full of lumpenproletariat pigs. (sarcasm is intentional, but sounding like a total jerk: not quite so much)
