And it is going to become worse. The Feds are out to regulate your garden/urban_semi-urban farm. Law enforcement at all levels is in on this and trying to destroy small producers of all food, especially the raw kind, at the behest of giant chemical and non-food providers.
Typical. I’m attempting to implement some permaculture practices on my quarter acre in the city, and I’ve been cited because the grass (and other plants) I’ve allowed to grow undisturbed (for the purpose of soil conditioning) presents “a potential harborage for rodents”. I am in the middle of an appeal, but (naturally) the outcome doesn’t seem too promising. Fortunately, I’ve managed to string this thing along for almost six months, so most of the stuff is dead and ready to be mowed and mulched for the winter anyways!
