Can anyone point me towards the best criticisms on Austrian Economics? Books, Articles, Journals, etc. I haven’t found anything that shook the foundations too much, but I’m sure there is someone out there.
Neither have I but if you search this forum you will find threads with this same topic.
People who criticize real economics (Austrian economics) are basically revolting against the nature of reality. So their criticism will always be an emotional appeal soaked in fallacies; all intended to kill the messenger.
I haven’t looked deep into it but I see bits and pieces of Hayek going from Austrian Economics then took a sharp turn and went off not defending it something later in his life. Not sure if I’m right, but can someone explain that to me or what I’m missing on Hayek?
May be “Why I’m not an Austrian Economist” by Bryan Caplan. He’s one of the few critics who’s actually honest and has some idea of what he’s talking about.
