Sorry, but this is no good. He doesn’t explain their modus operandi. He just says, “well, theres a bunch of rich bankers, and they’re all white and male, and somehow they’re responsible for the world’s financial crises but I won’t explain how.”. He doesn’t explain how they consolidate power, how they interact with one another… etc.
I’ve been looking for something along these lines though. I’m getting to the point where I think I might have to just do the damn research myself ><
The first lecture he gave on Superclass was at Middlebury College, where I go to school. I watched it on iTunes. Keep in mind that he is a CFR globalist who thinks the solution is to give more power to the UN. Filter for bias!!!

I agree, Snowflake. That’s what he said in the lecure I watched. I think we should compile a list of power elite books, good, bad, and ugly. Then people who have read them can tell me which ones are the best! : )
Where would you start if you did the research on your own?
Hmmm well there’s the obvious stuff we already know. Like that chart of the top campaign contributions to legislation from corporations. We can persue this further by making a list of legislation that benefits contributing companies. Although this will be subject to debate since we’ll be using economics to argue that universal health care benefits medical providers. It will also obviously be greyed by the fact that most legislation purports to have some public benefit.
I’ve also become interested in the media’s relationship with the state and corporations. For the life of me, I have only been able to find small, small connections between them. I can’t explain why Rubert Murdoch pushes liberal campaigns in Britain and conservative (though lately liberal) campaign in America. It would take probably a list of his assets. But this doesn’t go far enough, because real power is not measured in money but in whatever entangled web of political alliances. I would wager that Murdoch doesn’t do things for monetary benefit, but just so a certain group of people owe him favors.
But there are all these wierd things that pop up. Big things like the fact that the media covers up for the power elite. Small things like the giant american flag in spiderman 3. Seriously he jumps in front of it for like no reason on his way to save mary jane. Wtf.
Its all conspiracy theory type stuff, and prospects for actually figuring anything out are slim, since we’d basically need to read his mind.
Then there’s local politics, which you can spend a lifetime researching. I don’t think anyone will be surprised to learn its all a giant pyramid scheme.
Individual people are pretty tough to crack. We can observe Obama doing all these favors but its unclear how he benefits personally. Maybe I would focus on him first, since the president is always the symbol of the nation’s integrity. Even when people disliked Bush it was just because he was stupid, not because he was entangled in the military industrial complex etc etc.
So, I go on learning binges. Maybe this will be my next one.
Yeah, learning binges are fun. Way better than alcohol. What other topics have you binged on, besides the obvious ones like Austrian economics and anarchy.

Didn’t watch the video sorry. This made me think of when my parents came to visit me a few months ago and came with me to the local, free-grab-anything book “store” and I picked up one called Who Rules America?, then my parents commented on having had to read it when they were in college in the 60’s. I wasn’t sure of the title so I put it in google just now and apparently there is a recent 6th edition up to the Obama führertum. I’m pretty sure what I have is 1st edition and didn’t see past 5th to download, but the author’s site is here.
I forget… it all just gets assimilated. I’ve done the IMF/USAID/World Bank, the media-army, false flags, on politics. I get a ton of music about one or two weeks a year. I’ve done comics but there’s a really limited supply of good ones. Used to be really into movies, but again, supply is very limited. I did math during one summer… weightlifting research…
Video games. I’m currently in need of another revolution. Right now I box 9 characters on a private everquest server. We macro using C++ and a local chat server to send commands to each client. But its just not doing it for me anymore.
Future projects are the media-state, and european ‘prosperity’. Probably going to cast my net back out into comics sometime again soon. If I wind up taking that government course next semester, i’ll do a ton of research on the actual beaurocratic structure of the government.
So, I go on binges, but my day to day life is pretty much consistent. I guess I just find it too fatiguing to try and get new information all the time.
You are definitely way ahead of me in the binge department. I have gone on music binges. First classic rock, then indie rock (very long binge full of teenage angst), then jazz (listened to only jazz for half a year or so), then classical and soundtracks. I’m broke pretty much all the time, and not savvy enough to get what I want for free, so my bingeful desires are never fulfilled. Plus it’s bad for my health and my mom worries about me.
I have been feeling a comics binge coming on for quite some time. I am drawn to Gaiman’s Sandman specifically and anything that’s good quality. What are your favorites? I like movies, but no binging except for Hayao Miyazaki. What do you mean by supply being limited? Just that most everything out there is bad?
The video game stuff made me laugh, because I have no clue what you are talking about. It’s like a foreign language. But video games intrigue me because they were always like a forbidden fruit. I’m glad my parents had me play outside and read instead, but I will definitely binge at some point in my life I think.
Life needs balance, but binging is okay I think. But the info should revive and sustain you, not just make you tired and strung out. Right now I am binging on Mises forums and it feels great!
Try soulseek for p2p music. Its light and no viruses. The community is great. I’ve found a lot of artists by actually talking to the folks I DL from.

No. Most music is bad but there’s so much it doesn’t matter. With comics there aren’t a huge amount of them being supplied so…
Boxing 9 means I play 9 characters at once. Everquest is an MMO, like WoW, but harder.
