If you have a twitter account, I’d love to follow you.
My math website has a twitter account http://handsonmath.blogspot.com/, though your probably looking for libertarian type of tweets
Hey, sure I’ll follow your account.
I have a twitter account, but I do not tweet.
Was considering be-grudgingly making one now that I know more people who use them & want me to either read their text (I refuse to refer Twitter in the form of a verb, just not going to happen).
Frankly, I can do without it. 90% of Twitter pages make my eyes bleed.
For those of you who don’t tweet, I won’t try to urge you to start tweeting, but I think non-tweeters and even some tweeters don’t realize or understand some of the ways twitter can be used. I’ll give you one example. The hashtag #tcot is for Top Conservatives on Twitter. There’s also a #tlot used more by libertarian leaning folk. These can be great sources for news, but naturally the next question is how do you monitor these hashtags without having an account. You could go to twitter’s search and see the “latest” but you don’t want to sit in front of the computer all day. You want a quick summery of the days conservative tweets. That would be more appealing.
One source would be Twitter Times located at www.twittertim.es, but this site is great for users to monitor their own accounts or special topics, it doesn’t follow hashtags well. Paper.li does follow hashtags, but it only makes one per day, which sort of defeats the up to the second nature of twitter. Check out paper.li though and see if you like it. #tcot #tlot
