As the post title says, there is an economist (past or present, I can’t recall) who argues that market exchange arose because of our need/desire for cloth.
Does anyone know who this is?
Don’t know the name of that economist, but if someone was able to buy cloths, than there was also someone selling clothes who needed other stuff.
