Every time there’s an economists category on Jeopardy!, I cross my fingers in hopes of Mises being the correct response. Who knows – maybe he was was behind the 2000-dollar clue. Hayek was part of a clue once. That’s the only time an Austrian has been mentioned on the show in its history.
(Sorry for the crappy quality. I record Jeopardy! every night, but I have no idea how to get my recordings from my Comcast DVR to my PC.)
Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune are still my favorite all time game shows. They rank in my top 10 to watch tv, if I happen to be watching tv. Which I don’t do all that much anymore… TV is boring mostly.
The first one went too quickly for me. I thought the guy said “Hoppe,” but then I went back and it was “happiness.” I got the rest. Btw, Scot + 1776 + Economist == Adam Smith, always.
